Intake Details

The basic unit size for the programme shall be 50. But our institution gets permitted for two basic units from NCTE, followed by the University of Mysore.

Eligibility

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Ed Programme should be as prescribed by NCTE and UGC and State Government as listed below:
i) Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either Bachelor’s Degree and/or the Master’s Degreein Science/Social Science/Humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent there to are eligible for admission to the programme.

(Candidates with at least 50% marks in B.A, B.Sc, B.Com., B.B.M., B.Tech,.,B.E, M.A, M.Sc., M.Com., M.B.A, M.Tech are eligible for the B.Ed admission) SC/ST/OBC/PWD/371(J) and any other categories/type shall be as per the rules of the Central Government/ State Government whichever is applicable.
ii) The Candidate should specify whether he/she desires to be a

a) Teacher for 6-8 and 9-10 Standard eligibility (One who are Completed only Bachelor Degree) or
b) Teacher for 8-10 and 11-12 standard eligibility (Only for PG Qualified)

STEP-1 College will prepare Provisional approval list of the admitted candidates and declares it on the College website
STEP-2 After the last date of admission Final list of seats admitted is forwarded to the Adichunchanagiri University by the College.
STEP-3 Approval of admission by Adichunchanagiri University and notification of admission of each college with eligibility numbers will be displayed on the website
STEP-4 The list of the admitted candidates endorsed by the Adichuchanagiri University be submitted to the STEM Board and shall take necessary monitoring accordance to the admission eligibility and state policy.

NOTE:-

Candidates should produce the following Original documents of the followings, along with 2 sets of Photocopy of the same and 4 passport size and 4 stamp size photos at the time of admission at the College.
