Candidates seeking admission to the B.Ed Programme should be as prescribed by
NCTE, UGC, and State Government as listed below:
i) Candidates with at least 50% marks either Bachelor’s Degree and/or the Master’s
Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology
with specialization in science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other
qualification equivalent there to are eligible for admission to the programme.
(Candidates with at least 50% marks in B.A, B.Sc, B.Com., B.B.M., B.Tech,.,B.E,
M.A, M.Sc., M.Com., M.B.A, M.Tech are eligible for the B.Ed admission)
SC/ST/OBC/PWD/371(J) and any other categories/type shall be as per the rules of the
Central Government/ State Government whichever is applicable.
ii) The Candidate should specify whether he/she desires to be a
a) Teacher for 6-8 and 9-10 Standard eligibility (One who are Completed only
Bachelor Degree)
or
b) Teacher for 8-10 and 11-12 standard eligibility (Only for PG Qualified)
Post Graduate Degree in M.Ed from a recognized University with a minimum of 55%
Marks in respective and related subjects.
